Using the Design Studio

The Design Studio lets you create and preview custom engraving designs before you order. You can access it directly from the navigation menu or from any customizable product page.

Getting Started

Choose a product template — Select from our available products or upload your own product image to preview on.

Add design elements — Upload images, generate QR codes, or add text layers to build your design.

Position & customize — Drag elements to position them, adjust scale, and choose your engraving style.

Preview & save or order — See a realistic preview of how the engraving will look, then save your design or request a quote.

Saving Designs

When you create a design in the Design Studio, you can save it to your account to use later. Saved designs preserve all your layers, positions, and settings so you can come back and edit or order at any time.

Account required — You need to be signed in to save designs. Creating an account is free.

Name your design — Give it a memorable name so you can find it easily in your saved designs list.

Edit anytime — Open any saved design back in the Design Studio to make changes or use it for a new order.

Attach to quotes — When requesting a quote, you can link a saved design so we know exactly what you want.

Design Storage & Upgrades

Every account starts with a free storage tier for saving designs. If you need to save more, you can upgrade your storage plan.

Basic

Free tier — limited design saves. Great for occasional orders.

Pro

More storage space for regular customers who create multiple designs.

Unlimited

No limits — save as many designs as you need. Ideal for businesses.

You can view your current usage and upgrade at any time from Account → Storage.

Product Customization

Many of our products offer customization options right on the product page. Here are the ways you can personalize your order:

Choose a premade design — Select from our curated preset designs and add it straight to your cart. No quote needed.

Add a name or text — For simple personalizations, use the text field on the product page to add a name, date, or short message (up to 50 characters).

Create your own design — For fully custom work, click "Create Your Own" to open the Design Studio where you can upload images, add layers, and preview the result.

Requesting a Quote

For fully custom designs or special orders, you'll submit a quote request. We'll review it and send you a detailed price estimate.

Fill out the quote form — Tell us about your project: type of item, quantity, description, preferred engraving style, timeline, and any special notes.

Attach a saved design (optional) — If you've created a design in the Design Studio, you can link it to your quote so we see exactly what you have in mind.

Submit — Your quote will appear as "Pending" in your account while we review it.

Rush orders? Let us know your timeline in the quote form. We offer rush processing for time-sensitive projects.

Quote Approvals

Once we review your quote request, we'll send you a price estimate. Here's what the statuses mean and what to do next:

Pending — Your quote has been submitted and is waiting for our review.

Quoted — We've reviewed your request and sent you a price. Open the quote to review the details and total.

Approved — You accepted the quote and paid. Your order has been created automatically and we'll start working on it.

Declined — You chose not to proceed. You can ask us to revise the quote or submit a new one at any time.

How to approve & pay

Go to My Quotes in your account and open the quote marked "Quoted."

Review the line items, pricing, and any notes from our team.

Click Approve & Pay to proceed to secure checkout, or Decline if you'd like changes.

After payment, an order is created automatically and you can track its progress in My Orders.

Shopping Cart

Items you add to your cart are saved in your browser so you can keep shopping and check out when you're ready.

Adjust quantities — Use the +/- buttons to change quantities for each item.

Customization details — Your personalization, engraving style, and design choices are shown for each item.

Order summary — See your estimated subtotal and tax before heading to checkout.

Note: Customized items require you to be signed in to check out. You can still browse and add items as a guest.

Checkout & Payment

When you're ready to order, the checkout process is straightforward and secure.

Contact info — Enter your email and phone number (pre-filled if signed in).

Shipping method — Choose from:
  • Standard Shipping (5-7 days)
  • Local Pickup in Reno (free)

Processing speed — Pick standard or rush:
  • Standard — 5-7 business days (included)
  • Rush — 2-3 business days (+$25)
  • Same Day — if ordered by 12pm (+$50)

Gift options (optional) — Add a gift message or hide prices on the packing slip.

Secure payment — You'll be redirected to Stripe for secure card processing. We never see or store your card details.

Sending as a gift? Check the gift option at checkout to include a personal message and hide prices on the packing slip.

Tracking Your Orders

After placing an order, you can follow its progress from your account.

Pending — Order received, awaiting confirmation.

Confirmed — Order confirmed, queued for production.

Processing — We're crafting your item.

Shipped — On its way! A tracking number will appear on your order details page.

Delivered — Enjoy your custom engraved product!
