About Philippi Family Customs
Custom shirts, hoodies and hats, printed full color or embroidered. No minimum: one shirt or a crew of two hundred. We also print DTF transfers for your own press, laser engrave, and pour handmade epoxy tumblers.
Who we are
We're Donald and Katie, a husband-and-wife shop working out of our garage in Reno. We grew up in northern Nevada and most of the people who order from us live within an hour of here. We like it that way.
Donald runs the printing, the embroidery and the lasers. Katie makes every epoxy cup by hand.
We started with one laser and a lot of practice cups. Now the shop runs a DTF printer and a heat press, a 12-needle embroidery machine, fiber and diode lasers with a rotary for anything round, and a rack of cup turners for epoxy. It is still just us, and we still check every piece before it goes out.
We know a lot of people are watching their money right now. We keep our prices as low as we can and we would rather earn a repeat customer than a big margin. If you are not sure what you want, ask. We love this work and we are happy to talk it through.

Printed shirts, hoodies and hats
Full-color prints on tees, hoodies and hats. Pick the shirt, add your design, and see the price as you go. We sell the transfers on their own too, if you have a heat press.
Shop shirtsEmbroidery
Your logo or lettering stitched on hats, beanies, polos, quarter zips, full zips, hoodies, sweatshirts and tees, up to 12 thread colors. A shirt can be stitched on the chest and printed on the back, all in one order.

Order transfersTeams and businesses
Team and staff shirts, embroidered logo hats, logo coasters and engraved gifts. No minimum. Send a logo, a count and a date, and we aim to quote it within one business day.
Team quoteLaser engraving
Tumblers and slate coasters. The fiber laser burns through powder coat to the steel, and the diode does wood, slate, leather and acrylic. Glass sets we print in full color instead.

Katie makes them by hand, one cup at a time: glitter, color blends and names set under epoxy, then left to cure. Change the colors or add a name on any of ours.

Have a tumbler, a cutting board, or a piece you already own? Send it to us or drop it off, and we will engrave it. We will tell you up front if a material will not take the laser well.

Design it yourself and see the price as you go, or send us your idea and we aim to price it within one business day. No payment to ask, no pressure if the number does not work for you.
A proof whenever you ask
Ask at checkout and you see the design before we make it: spelling, layout, placement. Either way, we reach out if anything about your order is unclear.
Honest turnaround
Timing depends on the craft, materials, a proof if you asked for one, and our current workload. Epoxy also needs time to cure. Check the current estimate and follow progress through the order tracker.
Pickup, delivery or shipping
Pick it up free in Reno, or we deliver the day your order is done: what shipping to you would cost, up to $10 in Reno and Sparks (free on orders of $50+), up to $20 in Carson City, Fernley and Dayton (free on orders of $100+), and up to $30 in Gardnerville, Minden and Fallon (free on orders of $150+). We ship store orders to the lower 48. Alaska, Hawaii, and international orders are quoted so we can price postage first.
Our equipment
A DTF printer and a heat press for shirts and transfers, and a 12-needle embroidery machine with a cap driver for hats. Two fiber and diode lasers, one with a conveyor and a rotary, the other for smaller pieces and busy days. Fifteen cup turners for epoxy, and two smoke purifiers so we can stay on the machines all day.
We serve Reno, Sparks, Carson City, Fernley, Dayton, Gardnerville, Minden, Fallon, and the towns around them. We deliver to Reno, Sparks, Carson City, Fernley, Dayton, Gardnerville, Minden and Fallon. Farther out, we ship. When we have a booth at an event, you will find it on our Events page.
